Juliet Iris Kiellini
–
After speaking, Simone did not leave the room and added another word: “Stay in the room when the new employees arrive tomorrow.
I will inform you that your health is slowly improving before your debut into society, so be careful not to be as healthy as you are now.”
Vera looked at Julieta, who was stealthily in the middle of the room, and spoke quickly.
“I will bring you the bedding later, so please wash yourself first.”
When the two women left the room and she was left alone, Juliet sighed and sat down on the bed.
Having to stand even after arriving at the mansion after a long journey, she mumbled, rubbing her legs, that she could barely rest for an hour.
“They are incredibly hostile towards me.
People like that will be more suspicious and cautious if I try to get closer, right?
Alright, I’ll play the princess in a very professional manner.”
Julieta jumped out of bed and started stretching.
She couldn't even move her head during the long journey, pretending to be a noble lady, and her whole body was stiff and her bones seemed to be creaking.
Growl… Juliet looked at her belly, which was making a loud noise.
She was hungry because she ran to the castle after lunch.
The nobility may not feel hungry if they starve for a meal, but those who move restlessly while waiting on their feet must not starve together.
She, who was hired as a replacement for the role of princess, was in the same position as the maids, so she couldn't order food at that time.
Julieta untied the bag she had tied around her waist.
The 40-centimeter(1) brown bag on the bed was precious, carrying a magical glass bottle from the noble Prince.
Inside the brown bag was a set with the bag that had been made from old, disposable clothes and left at Castel Calen, there were her thick disguise glasses, the makeup instruments returned by Vera, a biscuit and two loaves of bread that she had packed at the last inn, along with the pajamas that the prince had given her.
She never let go of the lessons she learned from what she saw, heard and experienced.
After arriving at Castle Calen and having great trouble finding a dining room, she realized that when she went to a strange place, she would starve until she knew where to go.
In particular, she would often miss a meal until someone took care of her, and since she was a substitute for the princess, she didn't know what else would happen.
Today, after the last lunch before leaving for Tília Castle, Julieta said she would take a short walk before leaving and went down to the inn's kitchen to buy two packets of cookies and bread with her emergency funds, as if they were a thousand gold coins.
And now, looking at the bread and cookies she had bought at the time, she praised herself wildly.
All the experiences were embedded in her now.
Julieta took a cookie and a loaf of bread from the envelope and ate them right away.
This was also the castle of a high-ranking aristocrat.
Magic was used in the water system such as the Prince's mansion.
After washing and feeling refreshed, she returned to the room and, at that exact moment, Vera entered with a sheet and a pillow.
“Is the marchioness sleeping?”
It was clear that she was serving the marchioness first, rather than bringing her linen, so she asked her, and Vera nodded.
Looking silently at Vera as she turned over after making the bed, Juliet thought that she and Gibson hadn't eaten anything after lunch.
Juliet sighed as she felt the bread she was digesting in her stomach, even though she had decided to act in a professional manner without personal interaction.
Julieta opened the drawer, took the leftover bread and biscuits from her pocket and called Vera, who was leaving the room.
“Vera, take this.”
Vera looked down at the paper bag that Julieta was holding out and looked at it.
"What is that?"
“You didn’t have dinner.Unlike the marquise, we are not people of status who can eat at any time, even if we are hungry.
Well, I don't know if Vera can eat whenever you want, but in today's climate, it won't be easy.”
Vera received the envelope while looking at the girl with her damp hair loose for a moment and replied, “Thank you…”
“I think it will take away your hunger.
It might not be enough, but if you can, give some to Gibson.”
After speaking, Juliet wrapped her head in a towel and lay down on the bed as if she were tired.
Vera, looking at her, hesitated a little and gave her one word: “You have to sleep after drying your hair, so as not to catch a cold.”
Vera quickly left to escape Juliet's gaze, who looked at her in surprise.
* * * * *
She followed Vera's advice and lifted her uncomfortable body to dry her hair with a towel.
She jumped out of bed when she saw the sun coming through the large window that occupied one of the walls.
As she hated hearing the complaints, Julieta quickly washed, went out and opened the window, defying the annoyance.
Stepping onto the terrace, she could see a large garden at a glance, a green garden in the blue sky, and hear birdsong.
It was a beautiful morning.
Juliet quickly stretched out against the blue sky as a backdrop and looked at the carriages lined up along the sidewalk with excited eyes.
“What are you doing!”
A refreshing and pleasant morning lasted only a moment, and Simone's shrill voice brought Juliet back to reality.
She couldn't help but sleep in the baggy pajamas that the prince had given her as a gift, because they didn't give her the suitcase with the clothes she had worn on the trip.
Furthermore, Simone's face grew colder as she watched her braided hair stand up on one side and her messy face.
“Duke Kiellini's daughter appeared on the terrace this morning looking so ugly!
Are you crazy?”
Vera ran across the room at Simone's fierce scream, pulled Juliet into the room and closed the window.
“Iris has been a sick child since childhood.
She can't get up and walk around with such a colorful face.
I will say that his health has slowly improved, but not yet.
If you’re not going to lie in bed, at least try not to leave the room.”
Simone looked at Julieta for a moment as she lay quietly on the bed under Vera's guidance and continued speaking.
“Regina will move into a separate house in the morning.
Until now, Regina's room has been the Duchess's.
It was the hostess's room.
You can't stay here as this room is too small for the lady of the duke's family, so you can go to the third floor room as soon as you are ready.
You are healthier than anyone, so you can go up and down without difficulty.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Every word the woman said really angered her, but Juliet responded calmly.
Simone's face hardened at Juliet's response, as if she didn't like it.
“Call me auntie.”
She looked at Vera after repeating this reluctantly.
“She will have to wear the dress we prepared in Bertino until we go to Dublin.
It's difficult to order clothes from Madame Louai, as her body is different from Regina's.”
Simone looked at Juliet with disgust, as she was unnecessarily well developed, unlike her niece, and continued to give instructions.
“For now, don’t order new clothes for Regina and look for another designer.
It would be good to look for one on the side of Virn.”
