Calen Castle
–
Oswald sighed when he saw the woman in front of him, who intentionally used thin fabrics to make the fabric stick to her entire body and whose exposed dress was beautiful but overflowing with vulgarity.
“Oh, Viscountess.
I think you are mistaken.
Nothing that comes out of my mouth is without His Highness's thoughts.
As I said, your intentions are in line with my message, so be ready.
The maidens of Castle Rezen are helping your maid pack your things, so as soon as you are ready, you must leave the castle.
I want you to know that if you resist, you will be forced.”
Oswald called out to the knights who were outside with the warning.
“As soon as the viscountess enters her room and is ready, take her out of the castle.
Everything has to be done within an hour from now.”
On the Marquis's command, the knights surrounded her.
She began to calculate quickly.
At this rate, she could be dragged away in a very ugly way, but she thought it wasn't that bad.
It would seem more plausible to be surrounded by knights than to leave the gate in a miserable manner, without anyone sending them away.
On the surface, they wouldn't know whether these knights were mobilized to make her leave or to bid her farewell.
If she were to take advantage of this situation, she could create a plausible situation for later.
'If I can't hope for a future with Prince Killian anyway, shouldn't I use the situation to find someone else plausible?'
Oswald sighed loudly as she held on to her seat.
“Madam, I warned you clearly.
Let’s take you straight to the carriage.”
Two knights politely bowed to the viscountess at Oswald's command and lifted her up holding both arms.
She pretended to rebel and was taken to the carriage.
A moment later, just as her maid appeared wearing her mistress's hat and sat down opposite her, the carriage drove away.
“Your Highness is so cruel.
I don’t even remember how I kept it all.”
The maid was moved to tears when she had to prepare to leave in a hurry under the eyes of the frightening knights.
“Shut up!
Give me my hat.”
After putting on the hat the maid handed her, she looked out the carriage window.
Knights wearing two emblems of the Principality of Bertino and Prince Killian surrounded the carriage she was in.
She seemed pleased with the sight and leaned back comfortably in her seat.
“I will return to Austern first and look to the future.
No one will think that I was expelled by the prince with so much escort, except Anais.”
“Um, Lady Anais is totally different from the rumors.
Those who believe that she is generous and kind, and that she is the right person to be the Empress in the future, would never say so if they found out what she really is like.
”
She nodded to the maid who had been emotionally injured in the days-long battle of nerves.
“That’s right.
I can bear anything else, but I can't see that pompous bitch in the future.
I’m going to have to get revenge for what she did to me in the meantime.”
The viscountess had a dark, wet smile, thinking:
‘You wait and see…’

On that occasion, Juliet returned to the room on the orders of a noble lady, who acted as dormitory superintendent.
Although her makeup was a bit serious, she hadn't hurt anyone and was bored with the fact that everyone treated her like an infectious patient.
She was worried that she would have an accident sooner or later after her mood had so many ups and downs, although she suffered every time.
She just hoped that Killian's new maid would come as soon as possible.
Juliet didn't know that Killian would send back the new maid she had been waiting for so long, and she was alone wondering how long she would wait to return to Harrods Street.
“Juliet.” She heard a voice calling her from outside.
It seemed like a long time passed before the prince returned to his room.
As she was running out, the door connected to the dressing room opened.
Killian looked around the room where Juliet was staying.
Since he thought the room was too small for a huge dressing room, he asked without thinking too much, “Isn’t the room too small?
It doesn’t even have a window, so it feels stuffy.”Juliet shook her head hard, thinking that her employer might be trying to take her own space again.
“No, I really like it.
I've never had such a nice room.
I am very satisfied with the bed, table and closet.”
Although she seemed to have lived a splendid life under the protection of Marquis Anais, she decided to think that her past before the age of five was not her life.
She decided to remain aloof towards the guests who were staying in the outer castle.
Killian nodded helplessly when he saw Juliet, who replied vehemently that she really liked it.
If she didn't like it, he would try to renovate the dressing room, but it's a good thing she liked it so much.

“Draw a bath.
We’re pressed for time before dinner, so hurry up.”
When Killian left, leaving an order, Julieta breathed a sigh of relief for having stayed in the room.
As she ran to the bathroom to get ready for a shower, now used to it, Killian thought for a moment, looking at her ample disguise from behind.
He had already heard many words about his maid's appearance.
He wanted to keep her out of sight as much as possible, but to do so, he had to have another servant or a maid beside him.
The reason why he until now tolerated Jeff was that he hated the presence of untrustworthy people around him.
Although he knew Jeff's insidious and unpleasant character, he had not been very intrusive until now and, above all, he was the nephew of Baroness Lanolf, who had worked as his mother's maid.
He finally found his favorite maid, but the intrusiveness of the people around him was quite irritating.
Furthermore, Killian was deeply offended by the maid's attitude, daring to point out Albert's incompetence in front of him.

At that time, Baroness Ranolf, who had provided that situation, was hearing the news of Jeff's accident from Sir Albert.
“What?
You mean that ugly thing threw hot water on Jeff?”
“The Baroness, don’t say anything to create problems.
When did I say that?
While preparing tea for His Highness, Jeff was burned in a minor cart accident.
His Highness confirmed that there was no intention of this.”
“The ugly face that should have been full of hot water, why did it fall on our Jeff’s face?
Was it really an accident?
Your Highness didn’t see wrong, did you?”
Albert was very angry with Pamela, who was so excited that she didn't know what she shouldn't say.
“If you want to hold on to your seat for a long time, I hope you won’t say such insufficient words again.
I will repeat this once, just once more, you will have to leave the castle if I hear this again.”
As Albert glared and shouted at her, Pamela suppressed her protest, which was about to burst out of her.
It was because she knew that such a strong and masculine man would actually do this if he wanted to.
“Yes, Sir Albert.
I felt sorry for my nephew who got hurt, so my tongue slipped.
Please forgive me.”
Albert nodded reluctantly with the semblance of an apology.
As she managed to calm her bubbling mind and recounted the dinner preparations for the evening feast, Pamela thought:
‘I need to kick that nasty maid out immediately.’
