Heughan Hunter returned to Royal Constabulary Headquarters.
Scarlett left immediately, and afterwards, Victor showed an uncharacteristically nervous attitude, perhaps due to the shyness displayed by his ex-wife.
But for Heughan, Scarlett starting to regain her memories was a serious problem.
Now, since Victor knows about his tour, he doesn't trust Scarlett, but if Scarlett continues to insist, he may launch an investigation.
Heughan believed that Scarlett possessed a strange air that could confound men's judgment, which caused him to take recovering her memories seriously.
Heughan took off his tie and threw it on the ground.
After Victor Domfelt and Scarlet Crimson divorced, he thought it was over.
Having never experienced divorce before, he did not expect a divorced couple to meet so often.
Moreover, no one in the Royal Police expected that Victor Domfelt, who had lived his whole life for honor, would wish Scarlet Crimson, who had sullied his honor, back to his home.
“Okay”
Heughan sighed.
He remembered Scarlett Crimson's eyes during interrogation, pure and clear, the color of seductive wine.
And he remembered her naive love for Victor Domfelt, who seemed almost stupid.
At first, the Royal Police officers mocked her stubbornness, but at one point, they seemed to be charmed by her love, which gave them a headache.
They longed for her deep love.
Lately, even Hyrum Pitt, the royal policeman assigned to keep an eye on Scarlett, no longer seems reliable.
No reports have arrived from him recently.
If Scarlett's memories were coming back, the spy near her should have known.
The absence of reports made Heughan very anxious.
Victor Domfelt's deviation from the plan was enough to make Heughan exhausted.
Yule Irene, the crown prince and his sister's lover, greatly disliked Victor Domfelt being recognized as a royalist.
Access to some royal police data or participation in royal meetings was a problem, but above all, Yuli hated Victor as a man.
He didn't admit it, but everyone around him noticed it to some extent.
Yuli, the king's grandson, was born, and his cradle was made of jade.
Even if he lived a promiscuous life, his enormous wealth with which he was born did not diminish.
It was pitiful for such a man to be jealous of Victor, who had devoted his whole life to obtaining what Yuli was born with.
However, he was jealous, and even convinced his father to force Victor to command an air force without planes.
In fact, Heughan, upon confronting Victor Domfelt, felt a partial understanding of Yule's feelings.
Victor was an annoyingly idealistic man.
Anyway, because of his sister's ambition to become the Crown Prince's wife, Heoghan became someone Yule Eren trusted and relied on.
He quickly rose to the position of police chief.
As the second son of the Hunter family, he now possesses more power than the family heir.
But if he messed this up, he might lose his standing with Yulei.
Heughan sat on the chair, leaned back, and covered his face with his hands: “Oh, shit.”
While he was muttering, he heard a knock on the door.
“Sir, this is Hyrum Pitt.”
“Ah, come in.”
He was worried about this man's betrayal, so Hyrum Pitt's appearance came at the right time.
Heughan noted with satisfaction.
A tall and very thin young man entered, wearing a Royal Police uniform.
Hyrum Pitt, better known as Andre Hamilton, was working in the Scarlet Crimson watch shop as a second-class Royal Policeman.
Andrei stood, his back shackled, and said: “I came to report.”
“About Scarlet Crimson?”
“No, about Issac Crimson.”
Andrei continued with a calm expression: “Now, the local police have arrived at Crimson Palace.”
After Scarlett left for Doomfelt Mansion to choose something for the auction, Isaac headed straight to Crimson Mansion.
How was Scarlett?
Until Issac was thirteen, he never saw anyone who hated her.
Scarlett was a childish child.
In the palace, she would walk quietly under her parents' scolding, but would run excitedly when she left.
After the death of their parents, the governess, who was immediately sacked, slightly favored Scarlett over Issac.
It was annoying in his childhood, but now, it seemed normal for people to be attracted to a girl who laughed and loved people.
Before their parents' death, their relationship as brothers was normal, neither bad nor particularly special.
But after the cart accident, everything changed.
Thirteen is a young age, but it sometimes allows for mature thinking.
At that age, locked in the attic after losing his sight, Isaac gradually realized that most people did not follow the warm heart emphasized by his parents, but rather the logic of power.
After Arnold announced his intention to sue Scarlett, Isaac made up his mind.
It was impossible for them as brothers to defeat Evil Crimson fairly.
Evil had built a wide network of relationships, and most importantly, the laws of the world were not fair.
An abused 12-year-old girl had no protection.
Isaac knew that he could not defeat those who imposed everything by force.
Isaac walked out of Scarlett's Watch Shop and headed straight to Crimson Palace.
When he entered the house after a long absence, the servants looked at him in wonder, thinking that he would never return.
Issac ignored their gazes and headed, skillfully using his wand, to Evil Crimson's office.
When he stood in front of the door, he heard Evil's angry voice: "That damned girl should be in hell!
She should have caused problems that could be solved!
We kept her in the family, and she knows no gratitude!"
Isaac laughed sarcastically when he heard that.
Open the door.
As soon as he entered, Evil shouted: "You!
How did you raise your sister?"
“I told you, that girl has been a problem since birth!
Determined to destroy this family...”
While Eiffel was talking, Isaac took off his dark glasses.
Seeing his eyes, Evil laughed sarcastically, as if he found something amusing amidst his anger: “Wasn’t she the one who made you like this?”
Instead of answering, Isaac looked around the office.
Two weeks after the moon rose, he could not see clearly, but he realized that the office was in chaos.
The desk, which his father used, was always messy.
It was never cleaned, and Evil would forbid servants from touching it, claiming it had a special status.
Isaac turned his head toward the wall where his parents' painting hung.
He felt the wall with his hand, but did not find the painting.
Evil's hand trembled as Isaac moved as if he could see.
He motioned for the lawyer with him to leave quietly, then held a paper knife behind his back.
"what are you looking for?"
“Wasn't there a painting of my parents here?”
“Well stored”
“Where?”
“I will tell you when you become the head of the family.
Now, Issac, do you see anything?”
"I see," Isaac replied.
"Scarlett gave me a good medicine."
When Isaac turned around, Evil tried to stab him in the neck with a paper knife.
But Isaac held his arm, preventing the knife from penetrating his neck just a little, and he said with a calm face: “I hear, too.”
“What?”
“The sound of a knife being raised”
After losing his sight, his sense of hearing increased dramatically.
Isaac could tell a lot by sound.
He easily pulled the knife out of Evil's hand and added: “I also heard your rapid breathing for fear of killing me.”
Isaac grabbed Evil's right hand and raised it in front of his eyes, then put the knife on his index finger and cut it off.
“Ahhh!”
Although the knife is sharp, it was slow to cut anything other than paper.
Evil's screams echoed through the palace.
He held his hand and writhed in pain: “Doctor!
Call a doctor!
And the police, now!”
Isaac looked at him coldly.
Evil, who forced Scarlett to hit him to strengthen their bond, was engraved on Isaac's mind.
Issac smiled with an angelic face: “I always thought, if the roles were reversed, would Scarlett have hit me?
But no, she’s not like me.
She’s almost a saint.
She probably wouldn’t hit me even if she were to die.”
