Juliet Iris Kiellini
–
José withdrew, coughing in vain at the euphemism for “stop looking!”
“I'm sorry.
There is no problem, so you can leave.
But are you going home without a single escort?”
Simone frowned at the knight's worrying attitude.
“The escorts will be coming soon.
Thank you for your concern.”
José retreated without making a sound at Simone's cold response.
“I hope you return safely.
You can leave.”
When the window closed and the carriage finally drove away, Simone clicked her tongue.
“You caught their attention before you could leave Ricaren.
Be careful not to let anyone see your face until you reach Tília.”
“Yes, ma'am,” Juliet replied, carefully touching the veil of her hat and arranging it again so that it didn't reveal her face.

A month after leaving Ricaren, the capital of Bertino, the group managed to reach the Tília Territory.
Juliet studied the dark gray castle and tried to calm her racing heart.
Now his new life would begin.
Even though she was someone else's surrogate, she was able to shed her ugly disguise.
Of course, she would have to return to “Juliet” after the replacement mission, but she never intended to just blow the opportunity she was given.
Without a doubt, she would take this opportunity as a stepping stone and live a new life away from Manny's curse.
Simone looked at Julieta sitting in front of her.
She felt that the girl, sitting there with a black veil hanging, was restless.
The harsh upbringing changed Juliet's attitude throughout the journey.
She knew from the beginning that the girl had excellent appearance, but now she was confident in her behavior and speech, and was beautiful beyond description.
Simone shook her head to erase her sinister thoughts.
If Iris's future was threatened even a little, her brother the Duke could not stand by.
Furthermore, she would not let anything slip that could threaten her future.
The group passed through the gate on a starless night.
“Have you been okay?”
Simone nodded to the butler who greeted her politely.
“What about Iris?”
“She is waiting.”
“She’s fine, isn’t she?”
“Yes.
Fortunately, she didn't get worse.
Yesterday she even went for a walk, but it was short.
Hope for the future seems to be having a good effect on his health.”
Simone nodded at the butler's words.
“I will go to Iris first, so get ready and follow me.”
Thierry looked at Julieta, who was behind Simone, and said to Vera: “I have the innermost room on the second floor ready.”
When Simone and the butler opened the door in the middle of the second floor and entered, Vera took her to the bedroom.
As soon as she entered the peaceful ivory-colored room, Vera sat Julieta in front of the dressing table, took off her wig and began to fix her hair.
“What about Lady Iris?”
When questioned by Julieta, Vera silently combed her hair.
She looked like a plump woman, soft brown hair, slightly crinkled eyes, from a loving, chatty neighborhood, but she was really silent.
They talked many times during the period of more than fifteen days for Tília.
Julieta gave up listening to the answer and sighed slightly, then heard Vera's voice.
“She is beautiful, intelligent and graceful.
If not for her health, she is perfect.”
'I think.
She was raised in a perfect environment, so I thought she wouldn't fall short.
If the Duke of Kielini and the Marquis's younger sister Anais were her parents, she would be beautiful, of course.
If she really were healthy, she would have nothing to envy.’
Juliet had forgotten her situation and sympathized with the sick princess.
“Don’t be an enemy.
Don't be greedy for something that isn't yours.
Don't forget your reality.
That’s all I can say to you.”
It was sincere advice.
It was fortunate that Vera didn't antagonize her as much as Simone, who seemed to hate her.
Recognizing her reality was what Julieta had the most confidence in.
Juliet swore that she would do her best the day she freed herself from this shackle and flew free.

“You are beautiful.”
The girl sitting against the white bed looked as fragile as a crumb. The light blonde hair, pale face and lightless purple eyes observed Juliet with an expressionless calm.
“Auntie, do we look alike?” Finally, Iris took her eyes off Juliet, looked at Simone and asked: “It's half mixed blood, so it won't be any different.
Right?” Without waiting for Simone's response, Iris concluded.
“I will move to a separate house tomorrow.
No matter how much I hide it, it's difficult to hide my identity from the staff who come and go from the castle.
Well, today could be our first and last date.
In fact, we don't have a good reason to see each other often.
Isn’t that true?”
Iris spoke with a passionate expression as she looked at Juliet's bright blonde hair, sparkling green eyes, and red lips as if to prove that she was alive.
She didn't say it was nice to meet Juliet, even in empty words.
She was just a girl who would step into her role.
She was a girl who would come out of Tília, instead of herself, and make a debut in society and experience everything.
Iris would be a dead person until the girl returned to her place, a dead person that no one should know existed.
“My name is Iris Regina Kiellini.
You are Juliet, right?”
“Yes my lady.”
Iris looked at Juliet in silence.
“From now on, your name is Iris Regina Kiellini.
Use it well and return it.”
Iris looked at Simone with a heartless look.
“Now, Auntie, please call me Regina.
I don’t like being confused with her, not yet.”

“Spencer, come on.
Did you enjoy your trip?”
“I got the start date wrong.
I don't feel well because I was continually bumping into Francis during the trip,” Spencer complained as he combed his light brown hair, which slightly covered his eyes.
“Why didn’t you come with him?”
Spencer snorted at Killian's words.
“You want us to stab each other?
If I had a guarantee of victory, I would have attacked him, pretending to be crazy.”
Spencer wasn't like Oswald, but he was in the same class.
He loved art, praised beautiful women, and detested blood and force.
He was able to live a life that had nothing to do with the fight for the throne, but he came into the political race alongside Killian, it was because of the Dudley family and Francis.
The moment they took power, he was afraid of what would happen to this peaceful Austern.
Even now, there was no way of knowing how much of Dudley's funding was being used to prevent Francis from acting.
Francis must do what he wants, whatever the cost, it was a secret known only to those who knew Francis' character.
Francis was now holding himself back to become emperor, but if the reins were lifted after achieving the desired goal, what would happen?
Spencer was worried about this.
He could lead Austern into an age of blood.
His blood was mixed with royal blood, so Spencer himself didn't know what kind of charges he would face if he was unlucky.
It was natural for him to hate Francis in this situation.
“What about Francis?” asked Spencer who had arrived shortly after Francis, and thought Killian might be facing him, but he couldn't see him.
“I haven't seen him yet, either.
I heard he passed through the outer castle first.”
“He went to where Lady Anais is?
It seems like he is in a big hurry.”
“Your behavior is quite reasonable, since the marriage with Princess Haint failed.
Except for Princess Kiellini, who is now known to die sooner or later, the woman with the highest status among women who are of marriageable age is Lady Anais.”
“Francis still believes he must marry the woman of highest status in Austern to become an emperor?”
