Juliet Iris Kiellini
–
“I feel strange.
The hair color, slim jawline, and body shape are similar, but something is different.
I don’t know what it is, but I felt a feeling of heterogeneity(1).” Adam spoke to Killian's response.
“Your Highness, I know you don’t want to believe it, but you were right.
Didn't you say that the maid was wearing clothes bigger than her to hide?
You were the only one who knew about her appearance,” Adam continued, looking at the baggy, water-soaked clothing that stuck to her body like a sack.
“No, my heart says it’s not Juliet.
Of course, I don't want to believe what you said.
I will check carefully.
Valerian, cover that knight's eyes.
The rest of you, all turn around.”
Valerian tied his tie over the appointed knight's eyes and turned away.
The knight who had to undress his body with a blindfold was perplexed.
As he hesitated in embarrassment, he received hurried orders: “Hurry!”
Killian placed the knight's hands on the corpse's front button.
When he saw someone else's hands touching the maid uniform that Juliet usually wore during normal hours, he suddenly felt uncomfortable and pushed the knight aside.
“Step back, I’ll do it.”
“Your Highness!”
The men who turned to restrain Killian, but he was standing firm as a rock.
“Everyone stay back.
Are you going to make me say that twice?”
Albert lamented to Killian, who was terribly angry, and began to stop him: “Your Majesty, please kill me.
It is the sin of this old man who knew nothing until Juliet disappeared.
When Albert was about to kneel down and even hit his head, Adam also knelt down towards Killian who was sitting in front of the body.
Your Highness, I will call a maid.
Just a moment, I’ll be back in a hurry, so please stop touching the body.”
Killian looked around.
Albert, his servant Ian, and the knight who had carried the body, as well as their close aides, were all kneeling and they all looked pale.
When Killian finally stood up, conflicted with the concern of those around him and his need to identify the body in a hurry, Adam hastily ordered the knight, “Bring someone in as quickly as possible.”
The knight who was standing by the door opened the door to the Oval Office and hurried out, quickly bringing a maid as if he had caught whoever was passing by.
Upon seeing the ugly body, she fell on her butt with a scream.
Valerian's sword, angered by the way she dared to scream and show ugliness in front of Killian, pointed at the maid's neck.
“Shut up and take off your clothes.”
When she slid back into a sitting position in surprise, the maid managed to remember where she was.
Seeing the subjects and knights looking fiercely at her, and the Prince with his eyes fixed on the corpse, the maiden came to her senses and crawled towards the body.
The maid began to undress the body without knowing why, shivering and nauseated by the smell.
Watching the scene, Killian started laughing as the clothes were completely taken off.
“Ha ha ha ha ha!”
At the sound of the mad laughter, Adam turned and hurriedly sent the knights and the maid out of the Oval Office.
“Your Highness.”
‘Was Juliet’s death so shocking?’
Albert didn't know what to do when he saw Killian laughing like crazy.
Killian stopped laughing, glared at the body and said.
“No, no.
It’s not Juliet.” At his words, everyone who turned around finally looked at the body.
They looked down to see if there was anything to characterize, but they couldn't say anything.
They didn't know when he had seen her naked, but it was amazing how he discovered she wasn't Juliet just by looking at her bloated, pale corpse.
While looking at each other with curious faces, Killian regained his usual coolness.
“Is there something in the body that can be characterized?” When Adam asked carefully, Killian nodded.
“Yes, there was something only I could recognize.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen him, but I remember seeing him before.”
Killian motioned for Valerian to take the body away.
At Valerian's command, the knights outside entered and quickly wrapped the body in a cloak.
Killian looked at him and ordered, “This is the body of a girl who worked as my maid.Be formal and bury it in a sunny place.”
Killian wanted the body to be identified as Juliet's.
It was to be handled by advisors who knew his intentions.
When the knights removed the body, Oswald, who had retreated to the far corner of the Oval Office, returned to the round table where Killian was sitting.
Looking at Oswald, who was sitting in a chair looking quite ill, Albert hurried to breathe and prepare tea.
Adam frowned at the sight.
“You hate the smell of blood and are afraid of dead bodies.
How the hell did you learn swordsmanship?”
“Graciously.”*
“That's right.
I’m sorry I asked you.”
Oswald responded to Adam, who acted as if he had given up: “No, I saw dead people too.
But I've never seen anything like that soaked in water.
I only have the soul of an artist who loves beauty and grace.”
Letting what Oswald said go in one ear and out the other ear, Adam looked at Killian.
“Your Highness, what did you mean by what you said?”
Looking at Killian drinking tea with an expressionless face, Adam asked him what he was curious about.
Despite Adam's question, Killian pretended not to hear and drank tea without answering.
“Are you sure it’s not Juliet?
You wanted to think like that, didn’t you?”
At Adam's voice full of doubt, Killian took a look at his nearby companions looking at him.
He didn't want to answer, but everyone was wondering that they were about to die.
“The body figure was different.
Even though it was bloated in the water, its waist wasn't as thin as Juliet's, and its legs were different lengths when I looked at its overall body.”
‘And there was no place that Juliet had…’*
*Sa-chan:
he is thinking about the mole she has on her chest.
“So what do you mean you’ve seen this before?” Oswald asked, but Killian just drank tea without saying a word again.
Because he didn't want to tell, Adam gave up on getting an answer and asked a different question.
“Why did you turn that body into Julietta’s?”
“Someone is trying to hide Juliet, even if they have to fake a dead body.
We don't know what they would do if we keep trying to find her.
Stop the search for now, but try to strengthen the surveillance of the external gates and borders under the pretext of the hunting competition that will take place soon.”
“Who the hell are they?
It is very strange to relate Juliet to those who sent her to prison.
It would be better for them if they killed Juliet as Lady Chaister.
Killian nodded silently.
It was certainly strange.
It was clear that Juliet left the castle to reject his offer.
She must have run away as soon as she refused Albert.
She even took her bag with her.
If Duke Kiellini's words were true, he couldn't help but think that something had happened to Juliet after getting off the carriage in the city.
‘Who is trying to hide Juliet?
Why the hell?’
“Albert.”
“Yes your Majesty?”
“You said it was Spencer who wrote the cover letter to Juliet?”
“Yes, Your Majesty.
She brought a letter of introduction from Marquis Rhodius, and Johanna, the head maid, employed her as a cleaner.”
“Valerian, send a man to the Eileen Theatre.
Meet the actress, Lillian, and discover more about Julieta.
You will have to find out quietly, without anyone knowing.”
“Yes your Majesty.”
As soon as Valerian responded, Oswald intervened.
“Your Highness, Lillian must be retired.”
Adam and Valerian looked at Oswald, wondering how he knew the whereabouts of an actress who was in Austern while he was staying in Bertino, and quickly recognized him, seeing his appearance.
Oswald who dressed as conservatively as possible to suit Killian's mood, and was still more colorful than anyone in the office.
