The principality of Bertino
–
"What?"
Even though it was the best room in the inn, it was a small room where the door led to a few steps from the bed.
No matter how she slept on the floor, the pressure of sleeping with the Prince in this small room made Juliet's words of protest come out of her mouth.
“I can sleep in the living room.”
He wouldn't send Juliet to sleep alone on the floor of the bed, but she rebelled with an air of innocence.
Killian, however, added another word to Albert as he didn't hear her: "Get out of here immediately, and I don't need an escort in front of my room today, so leave it empty."
“Your Highness, it is absurd.
I can't believe you're going to send the escorts away.
What if someone breaks in?”
Albert jumped out of his skin, but Killian forcefully took off his robe, put on his pants and shirt again and went to bed.
“I have a strong maid.
Don't worry.
She will protect me even by blocking everyone.”
"I am?"
‘What is this, some kind of baseless trust?’
When Juliet was stunned by the clumsy words, Killian clarified, “If anything happens to me, I'm sure the people under me won't be safe.”
Juliet accepted immediately.
Albert shook his head sadly when he saw Juliet and left to carry out his orders.
Julieta looked at her master's bed and thought for a moment whether she should take off her heavy glasses.
It had been a few months since the wine incident, and he wouldn't remember that that girl was herself, but she hesitated.
If she were caught, she didn't know what the Prince's wicked reaction would be, who couldn't be called a good person.
But it seemed more suspicious to sleep with her glasses on, and she lay down with them in her hands so she could put them on at any time.
As she lay on a blanket wearing an uncomfortable dress with wires around her waist and hips, fire exploded from within her.
The more she thought about why she couldn't sleep well, the angrier she became.
“Stop fussing and sleep.
Or are you expecting something different?” His low, picturesque voice made Juliet sound like she was asleep in one breath.
‘I don’t know why he doesn’t hate or detest my disguised appearance like everyone else.’
She was worried that the Prince was being generous so she couldn't hide it, and that she might be shortening her life by making a big mistake.
Killian snuck out of bed as Juliet slowly fell asleep, trying to erase the ominous thought that he might be itching to take a shower tomorrow morning.
‘Why were you so angry?’
She pretended to be asleep but when he said something she quickly fell asleep, that was cute.
It was incredible that an unusual maid he had never experienced had made him so happy on his boring trip.
Killian thought it best to tell Albert tomorrow to stop finding a new maid.
‘Where can I go and get a maid who hates me in this funny way?’
He was so happy that he thought he would make the most of what happened today.
Exactly two hours later, Killian realized he had a really bad idea earlier.
Count Baden's eldest daughter had hoped to come to his bed, and he was confident that he would be able to handle it perfectly because he was in such a great mood today, but it was a huge miscalculation.
While cleaning the dagger, which had been left to him by his late grandfather, with the depths of even breathing, he heard the door of the living room that led to the inn's corridor open.
Thinking that she had finally arrived, Killian kicked the sleeping maid to the floor with the toes of his long legs.
It was unforgivable that she fell asleep before him, the Prince, but this dull maiden never thought of waking up, despite the urgent kick.
As he was thinking about what to do, the bedroom door opened, and the shadow that had infiltrated it jumped onto the bed and crushed his body before he even prepared his heart.
According to his calculations, the woman had to stumble over the maid as she lay down on the bed. However, the obstacle was naturally cleared as Juliet remained close to the bed to avoid his kick.
It was never a good feeling to give yourself suddenly to someone who came in the middle of the night.
His generosity, which was rarely seen, today reached rock bottom in a moment.
Killian grabbed the sassy woman's neck and threw her off her bed without mercy.
A scream came from the mouth of a woman who fell to the floor and, at the same time, the sleeping maid stood up in perplexity.
“What, what is that sound?”
A perplexed Juliet looked around the dark room, and the Prince's cold command fell, "Turn on the light."
The prince's dark voice, which seemed to signal 'You are dead now', was so cold that her heart leapt into her throat.
As soon as she turned on the magic light after rushing to put on the glasses that she hadn't lost even during the surprise, she saw a woman lying down with clothes torn around her neck.
The gloomy atmosphere grew more unpleasant as Juliet looked at her boss with suspicious eyes.
“What’s that look in your eyes?
Get rid of that woman right now!”
As his fierce gaze and voice revealed that he was truly angry, Juliet quickly approached the woman who had fallen.
“Well, ma'am, get a grip.
Wake up.
You can’t lie here like that.”
She shook the woman gently, like waking up a drunk lying on the street, but the woman never thought about waking up.
She lay in agony for a moment thinking about how to wake up and felt a shiver run down her spine.
Upon feeling that the bomb's time was going to zero, Julieta began to shake the woman strongly.
She was sorry for heartlessly shaking her, but this was no time to ignore a woman's plight.
She thought that the woman, who was lying in a man's room in the middle of the night, was wrong and shook her with all her strength, and finally the cadaverous woman began to respond.
“Uh, Ugh.” She groaned as the woman woke up, as if Juliet's sarcastic mind was transmitted to her.
‘What the hell happened?
And why was this woman lying here passed out?’
Juliet just wanted her to get up before the bomb went off.
When she looked at the Prince with anxious eyes and wondering how long he would wait, the woman finally opened her eyes.
“Where, where am I…?”
The woman, who was groaning with her head resting on the headboard, suddenly raised her head.
She pushed Juliet and ran to the prince.
“Your Highness, I had to come here to see you.
Please give me a hug.”
Now she seemed to be completely out of touch with the Prince's expression and the atmosphere in the room.
While she was agonizing over whether to stop the woman who clung tightly to him, she was hanging onto his shoulders and pulling down his thin pajamas.
The woman began to cry pitifully as her bare, fat chest was exposed.
When the Prince looked at the scene without saying a word, Juliet slowly took a step back, thinking it was an atmosphere she needed to remove herself from.
