'I'm going crazy!'
What will you prepare?
We'll just hold hands and sleep, so what needs preparation?
Against my will, I was immersed in a bathtub filled with strong smelling essential oils.
Leon certainly had the same experience.
I tried hard to understand why we had to wash if we were just going to hold hands, but knowing too much made my face blush.
‘If we were to sleep in the same bed, it would be disgusting if we smelled bad, right?
This is why.'
I tried to calm myf with this thought.
“Wait, this nightshirt doesn't fit at all.”
When I saw my nightgown in the mirror, I was shocked and covered my body with my arms.
“Ma’am, we didn’t know that you would be spending your first night out, so we didn’t prepare.
We rushed to the city center and chose this carefully.”
"But I have my pajamas.
Didn't you bring them?
I want to wear the ones I usually wear."
“…we didn’t bring it.”
Mary hesitated and couldn't look at me, which made me sure she was lying.
“Then, at least give me a robe.
Like this, Leon will run away afraid of embarrassment.”
Amy dressed me in the robe.
I was grateful for at least the robe.
As I laughed sarcastically as I watched Amy looy tie the knot of the robe, I noticed that the seductive dim lighting made the room feel eerie and dark.
“Have a good night.”
Amy and Mary left the room with mysterious smiles, and I immediately turned off the lights.
Then I tightened the loose knot so that it would not unravel.
I was sitting next to the bed in the empty room, my legs shaking unusually, when I heard the sound of the door and Leon entered cautiously.
Thanks to the moonlight filtering through the window, I could see it.
He scanned the room with an expressionless look and then approached the bed.
He was wearing a robe, but his chest was exposed between its folds.
'Oh my God, why isn't he wearing something under the robe?
Is he crazy?'
'No, don't assume this is Leon's idea.'
I looked at the sheer nightgown Amy and Mary had bought, and I realized they expected a lot from us.
Leon didn't see me sitting on the bed, and when he noticed me, a fleeting smile appeared on his face and then disappeared.
His red eyes were shining strangely.
I checked my robe again, sighed deeply, and raised the corners of my mouth with a smile: “Leon!
Come and lie down quickly.”
I scrambled into bed, pulling the covers up to my chin and holding it tight.
“Bill Bill, I think my skin is going to burn.”
Leon lay down next to me with a deliberately childish tone.
I kept my head facing the ceiling and looked at him with my eyes only.
'Why does he turn his back?'
As he lay down, I was overcome by a strong woody scent that made me lose my senses.
‘He was also doused with essential oils.’
I felt a moment of sympathy, but seeing his back made me feel bad for some reason.
“Leon, give me your hand.”
I spoke in an unintentionally tense tone.
Leon was silent for a while, as if he didn't hear me, then he started to move.
"Yes."
Leon turned completely to face me and lay down, then slowly slipped his hand under the blanket towards me.
I felt his hand approaching.
'Stop getting close!'
I quickly reached out and grabbed his hand tightly.
There was an awkward atmosphere between us.
We didn't talk, and I couldn't even look at his face, so I just stared into the air.
In the silence, the sound of my heart was beating loudly.
I was afraid that Leon would hear him and misunderstand me, so I glanced at him, but my heart almost stopped.
He was staring directly at me.
His skin was startlingly pale under the moonlight.
When my eyes met his, he didn’t try to look away, but continued to stare, then opened his mouth: “Is it really true that if we hold hands and sleep, a baby will be born?”
He spoke slowly, and in his low, unusual voice, I felt a strange tickle in my chest.
I swallowed as I felt this tickle rise up my throat.
“Are you thirsty?”
He approached me softly, speaking in a lazy tone.
I felt the heat of his red eyes and his hot breath, so I closed my eyes tightly and stopped breathing.
I couldn't bear to look into his eyes.
I felt like I was going to get burned by their fire.
“But, Belle Belle, why did you stick your lips out like that?”
"What?"
I opened my eyes in surprise at his words.
I swear I didn't do that.
He looked at me with a sly smile.
"When?
When did I do that?"
I shouted angrily, let go of his hand, and quickly turned around.
"Huh?
Bill Bill, hand."
“It's enough to catch her once, sleep now.”
“But you said we should sleep holding hands.”
'You know that's not true, right?
Let's get over it.'
I didn't want him to see my red face.
I don't know how much time passed, but I heard his steady breathing from behind.
I finally changed my position and breathed a sigh of relief.
I looked at his thick black hair, his straight forehead, his sharp nose, and his elegant lips.
It was a night when sleep would not come easily.
After a night spent awake thinking too much, I fell asleep without realizing it, and woke up just after the sun had risen in the sky.
“Why didn't you wake me up?”
I asked Amy, stretching and yawning as she entered the room at my request.
I looked at the empty side of the bed.
“You were deeply asleep, so the master ordered not to wake you.”
“Where is Leon?”
“He woke up early this morning and went with Mr.
Kalsen to another room.”
He certainly didn't want to bother me because he was annoying.
“Tell him I woke up.”
"Good."
Mary left the room after I said that.
After a while, Mary returned with Leon.
He approached me, smiling enthusiastically and suddenly extending his hand.
I stepped back in horror.
His hand was moving towards my stomach.
“Our baby is growing up well, isn't he?”
'You're making fun of me now, aren't you?'
I smiled sweetly, pushed away his hand, and rubbed my stomach.
I didn't answer his question.
The key is not to overdo it.
Yesterday I learned what happens when I overreact.
“Leon, when will we return to Aster?”
"I want to, but Calsen said it's not possible.
I have to see my uncle the Emperor again.
It's scary."
I felt that his words were sincere, so I gently held his hand.
Leon grabbed my hand with his other hand.
We looked at each other with eyes full of confidence...
“By the way, Bill Bill, who is Lucas?”
Leon asked with an innocent look and round eyes.
When I heard Lucas' name from his mouth, I felt dizzy.
I turned to look at Amy, who was standing far away, with a look of reproach.
'Despite my pleas.'
But Amy stood with Mary without any disturbance.
I tried to send her a reproachful look, but she lowered her head and didn't look at me at all.
I took a deep breath, smiled embarrassed, and asked, “Who could it be?”
Leon's head tilted at my question.
“I don't know, of course.”
‘I don’t know either!’ I was innocent.
I should have asked my ex Bill.
But I couldn't say that to Leon, and it was frustrating.
"He was an old friend.
No, not a friend, just someone I knew briefly?"
“They…”
He made a strange sound and stared at me.
His red eyes seemed dark.
"Leon, it's not worth thinking about.
It's just a headache."
I pointed to my head with my finger.
'Please, let's get over it, okay?'
I heard a faint laugh from Leon.
He rubbed his head and laughed stupidly.
“I don't know why, but I thought a lot today, so my head hurts a little.
Haha.”
“Yes, thinking is very exhausting.
Empty your head.
Think as if you were straightening out the wrinkles in your brain.
I will think seriously for you.”
Leon's lips moved, then he suddenly burst out laughing.
“What do you mean Belle Belle would think?”
