The Yesters became more active in the cold, although it seemed there was another reason besides that.
Idith swallowed her thought and said with a worried expression.
“But I’m worried it could harm your health.”
Aden understood his concerns, but he was still Biflten in April.
No matter how hot it was, it was still much colder than the hot region.
Aden shook his head:
“I have no intention of putting it down.” The cold of Biflten in April was too cold for Ilyin, who was still getting used to the climate.
“Your Highness, if you use your divine power like this…”
Aden raised his hand and stopped Idith from continuing.
“I understand your concern, but it’s not as hard to do as you think.”
Strangely, everything around the mansion felt warm, as did Idith's worry.
It was because of Aden's divine power, but there was no power without consequences.
The temperature of the winter region was determined by Biflten's owner and how well he used this divine power.
Unlike him, Aden was known to be the best at dealing with divine power throughout its history.
Unfortunately, he was unable to warm the entire winter region like the sunny lands.
The most he could do was to heat it for a short period of time in a specific area of the winter region.
When Aden was young, he felt sorry for people who froze to death, so he overused divine power to save others, but he didn't do that anymore.
He knew that if he fainted, the winter region would fall with him.
Idith knew that he wasn't stupid enough to be the kind of person who would destroy himself because he couldn't control the amount of divine power he used, but now, the winter region was as warm as if it weren't April, which was wavering her concrete belief in him.
“Is this April particularly hotter?” Idith asked jokingly.
Aden was banging on his desk again and he didn't use as much divine power to accomplish this as Idith assumed he did.
His body still felt light regardless of the higher temperature he had raised in the area.
At this moment, someone knocked on the office door.
Idith glanced at Aden momentarily and then opened it.
“Your Highness, there is an urgent message from the hot region,” Idith said.
The knight of the Delroses, whose shoulders were covered with snow, bowed before the duke and placed a parchment on Aden's table.
When he opened the envelope with a sharp letter opener, he immediately recognized Milo's handwriting.
[Viscount Arlen's house wants to negotiate with the acid merchant]
Aden read.
He remembered the trouble that Milo had recently caused, his subordinate was never someone without intelligence, but a mistake usually remained engraved in someone's mind and Aden had not forgotten what Milo had done.
Aden squinted his eyes as he read more.
[They want to start supplying carrots to the north.]
Aden was aware of the carrot harvests and even though he was a winter ranger, he was also a property owner and would be in big trouble if he knew little about the current food situation.
He knew that carrots were grown in the south and they were a dream crop because they didn't require much labor and were therefore economical, but because of shipping to the north, it was the same as other crops and ended up being expensive.
If Arlen's estate near the capital started shipping the carrots for them, it would be a different story.
The problem was that Arlen's property wasn't in the south.
Intrigued by the letter, Aden continued reading.
[Arlen's estate recently managed to grow carrots.
I'm trying to confirm this, but in the meantime they were in contact with other houses in the north.]
Getting in touch with other families in the north was a given.
They were probably thinking about direct trade from the beginning, but then the following sentence made Aden frown deeply.
[It seems like they are looking for the Duchess.
They're just looking in the north, so it seems like they know she came here, but they don't seem to know exactly where she is.]
So, in short, the Arlens knew their daughter was getting married, but they ignored it and they didn't even pay attention to where she was going when she left the property.
They wanted to supply carrots, but they had no connections, so they must have thought of Ilyin, who went north.
It had been a while since Aden had met someone who had such an easy-to-read mind.
Aden placed the letter on the table and stood up.
“How should I respond?” The knight who delivered the letter asked carefully.
Aden raised his hand and stopped him.
He knew this was an urgent matter, but he had a place to stop first.

“The Grand Master of Delrose?” Ilyin responded as if she was surprised.
The mansion's entrance was guarded by the four houses taking turns and it seemed that it was Bright Elo's turn and it was a knight of Elo who arrived with a message of Aden's visit.
“I’m going to meet him.”
The Elo knight left with a troubled look on his face as he said:
“She’s on the sixth floor, in the Delrose library.”
When the knight disappeared from the library, Ilyin turned to the maid Delrose beside her.
“Was it weird?” The maid asked.
“No, not at all,” replied Ilyin.
The seventh floor maids laughed and Ilyin laughed with them.
It was not a normal situation for Grand Master Delrose and the Duchess to meet alone.
Unless the person delivering the message was a seventh floor maid or a Delrose knight, there was some acting required of Ilyin and it seemed like she did better than she thought this time.
As the maids happily fixed her hair, Ilyin sat and wondered what prompted Aden to urgently contact her in the middle of the day.
Ilyin leaned her head against the back of the elegant chair she was sitting in and thought about her arrival.
Being the Duke, Aden came to the seventh floor every night, so there was no reason for anyone to start a rumor that the Grand Master would meet the Duchess in private.
Even though the library was on the sixth floor, the Delrose maids made sure to check the entire hallway on the floor before Aden showed up, including the hallway in front of the library, even though it belonged to the Delroses.
There were so many excuses they could use to expel everyone from the other families.
