Aden only contacts Idith when he leaves the estate, and not when he goes back and forth between the main mansion and the knights' mansion.
Therefore, Idith had to look for him.
“This is a widely used medicine in the capital, so it won’t bother you, however, if you feel an itch…” Milo continued.
Idith witnessed something she shouldn't have seen, as Milo spoke in front of the bride's room.
“Come in and talk.” She heard Ilyin's command.
If any other bride had done this, rumors would have quickly spread throughout the building that the new bride had let another man into where she spent her first night with her husband!
Of course, there was a bigger problem, Milo's response directly opposed Aden's words that it was okay to enter the room since he was her husband!
"What?"
Idith wanted to hit Milo, who didn't realize what was happening as he had just come back, unconscious and dragged him out.
The only good thing was that only the Red Delrose maids were present.
"And me?" He heard Milo stutter.
"Yes."
The maids' eyes were wide open and Idith grabbed a maid who almost dropped the silver tray from her hands, putting her finger to her own lips to signal her to be silent.
The maid nodded and Idith pointed to the other maids again to order them not to speak either.
Her voice shook as she agreed to do so.
“Are you asking me to enter the Duchess’s room in front of the Delrose maids?” Idith was shocked to hear Milo say that.
“Milo, the master is asking for you,” Idith called to him.
“I’ll be there!” Milo looked relieved.
Idith couldn't even show herself when he asked Ilyin for permission to leave and she hesitated for a moment, but then said yes, with poise.
Idith dragged Milo away until they could no longer be seen, the merchant was like a log.
Milo must have felt like Aden's sword was at his throat during that awkward moment with Ilyin.
“What just happened?” Milo asked, looking confused.
Idith ignored him and went to look for Aden.
It didn't matter why Aden was lying, because he would have a good reason for doing so.
Idith just needed to follow her orders, but Milo had just objected to this lie.
The bride wasn't stupid and Den, the knight leader, would be the person she would question all of this to and he could guess how Aden would react.
Milo could very well freeze to death.
While Aden needed to be notified, Idith and Milo were both in trouble.
Idith let out a rare curse.

Aden was analyzing the information he received from Ecid, sitting in the knight's mansion.
Although he wasn't very curious about the outside lands, his fiancée made him question things.
He was examining information about the Arlens, as he had ordered a deeper and wider search of their history; they had no connection to the imperial family and she was certainly not an assassin.
Aden had been patient the night before and held back, otherwise he would have been like a whirlwind to his bride.
He had to control his urges so she felt something other than pain, but that only drove him wilder.
The night had been intense despite his control, but now his delicate bride couldn't get out of bed.
Of course, Blue North had made things worse.
Viscount Arlen's family had lived there for generations, but the viscountess' heritage seemed to be a mystery.
The fact that information about the Viscountess kept appearing bothered Aden.
Nothing else alerted him except the fact that her name kept coming up and about the Arlens being a bit questionable despite being a weak house.
Although the investigation was short, there was very little information to go on unless someone was intentionally withholding information.
The easiest way to do this would be to kill someone to keep them silent.
The Arlen family's highest-ranking maid had disappeared.
Milo was by no means an incompetent man and he narrowed the scope of his investigation but found nothing of interest.
He remembered the day he met Ilyin, searching for clues.
Arlen's knight escorted her, but did not enter the Ecid building.
Although Ilyin may have ordered him to stay out of it, he should have insisted, to avoid punishment if she was his beloved daughter.
